lovebug

Our Halloween plans weren't exactly what we had hoped for, thanks to an icky sore throat on my part.

But we still got to cute-ify Clara into the form of a cuddly ladybug, and took her out for 10 minutes of her first trick or treating experience.

At our next door neighbor's house, Clara said hi to Batgirl Lara, and tried to steal a pumpkin.

Then we followed Lara and other big kid neighbors across the street, where they showed her how to properly trick or treat.

I think I definitely have to agree with my friend Catherine. There isn't anything cuter than a toddler in a costume. I wonder if my mom will mind if Clara is a ladybug for our upcoming family portrait....

So true, nothing cuter than your toddler in that costume! Did clara get her fill of chocolate and OD on a sugar high all weekend? :)

next year we shall all be germ-free and they will thankfully still be adorable toddlers in costumes. (i'm thinking 12 years down the road when addie wants to be a 2-bit trollop instead of an itsy bitsy spider for halloween)
