Just wanted to post a quick *THANK YOU* to my dear friends for making my birthday weekend a fun one, even with a two week old baby in the house. On Friday night my muses Janine & Sarah treated me to a delicious baby-free night out with sushi, sake, and red velvet cake (which I am eating for breakfast as I type this). Saturday morning Matt & Catherine came over to visit Clara and bring me goodies to pamper myself with, and last night Amy & Steve and Brian & Louise came over and shared pizza, beer, an accidental birthday cake, and some of Chria's most shameful little secrets. And last but certainly not least, Chria made me breakfast & lunch, gave me a sweet card that made me cry a little bit, and somehow persuaded Clara to postpone turning into Jack Jack from the end of the Incredibles for at least one more day. You all rock!
